RELIEF Team

The RELIEF study, and website are developed by the staff, and doctoral students at the mDOT Center at The University of Memphis.

The following individuals and groups contribute to the RELIEF study.

RELIEF Leadership

Santosh Kumar, Ph.D., Lillian & Morrie Moss Chair of Excellence Professor in Computer Science, University of Memphis. As the mDOT Center Director, Santosh oversees all aspects of the RELIEF project.

RELIEF Research Team

The following doctoral students at the mDOT Center leads the design and deployment of the RELIEF Study.

Sameer Neupane designs and oversees the overall system of the RELIEF Study and lead efforts for study data collection.

Mithun Saha contributes to identify bugs and refine the study design and components.

RELIEF Administration

Joe Biggers, Director of Operations. Joe coordinates the work of the entire RELIEF team, handles communication with external stakeholders and enquiries.

Shahin Samiei, Associate Director for Research & Studies. Shahin directly supports the user privacy aspects of the RELIEF study, and compliance with various local, state, and federal laws regarding research data.
